Ashely drove me over a 100 miles to get my cat Merlin cremated in January 2013. He was a huge support to me. We sat in the little chapel with Merlin and then went into the pet garden and had lunch. We then drove a 100 miles home with me howling over the loss of Merlin.

Ashley loved all my animals, horses, cats, dogs and the frequent swans that visit my garden. it was our mutual love of animals that bonded our friendship.

His kindness also extended to my mum. He took us out to the home of rest for horses in Speen. My mum appreciated this as she had cancer at the time and looked back on this day out fondly. 

Many nice evenings we shared on your sofa with Scottie also.
